Licensing & Marketing Manager, Sony/ATV Music Publishing Australia

As Synch & Marketing Manager at Sony/ATV Music Publishing, Dan is responsible for driving music licensing and partnership opportunities for Sony/ATV’s domestic and international rosters across advertising, film, television and video games.

As well as synching Sony/ATV’s catalogue and writers to network television promos and high profile automotive, tourism, sporting, tech and FMCG commercials, Dan has also music supervised several films, most recently the upcoming US/Australian feature, 2:22 starring Michiel Huisman (Game of Thrones) and Teresa Palmer.

Sony/ATV (combined with EMI Publishing) is the leading music publisher in the world with more than 3 million song copyrights and one of the strongest rosters of Australian artists and songwriters including Hermitude, Empire of the Sun, Tame Impala, Jagwar Ma and Seekae.

Prior to his role at Sony/ATV, Dan held positions at Universal Music Australia in Account Management and Digital Sales as well as Business Development.
