Campaigner, Keep Sydney Open
Tyson Koh is the Campaign Manager of the anti-lockout campaign Keep Sydney Open and Producer of the ABC’s long-running music program Rage.
Since running Keep Sydney Open in 2015, Tyson has been at the forefront of the debate on Sydney’s nightlife and its cultural vibrancy. This culminated in organising a rally attended by over 15,000 people and several appearances in mainstream media. He is now a key contributor to the State Government on the future of Sydney’s night-time economy.
Tyson also presents the weekly show Loose Joints on Sydney’s FBi Radio, which he has hosted since 2008. Tyson has also DJed at events including the Big Day Out, Harvest, Parklife, the Biennale of Sydney and worked as a music programmer for major events like Sydney Festival, Darling Harbour’s NYE fireworks and the Commonwealth Games in Delhi.
