We’ve announced our second line-up of speakers!
Joining an already impressive lineup of speakers including Mirik Milan (Amsterdam’s Night Mayor), Martin Phillips (Bionic League), Patrick Donovan (Music Victoria) and Raj Chaudhuri (Boiler Room), we’re excited to reveal our next round of speakers, making up a program of over 150 of some of the world’s most admired music professionals.
Today we welcome Nic HP, founder of one of the largest and arguably most influential YouTube music channels, Majestic Casual. Alongside Nic HP, acclaimed Detroit-native, and Berlin-based artist Jimmy Edgar joins the lineup. Edgar signed with Warp Records at age 18, started his own label Ultramajic – an intersection of design, art and music – and has toured the world countless times over.
Off the back of an incredible 2016, running her label NLV Records and performing at Coachella, Nina Las Vegas will appear at EMC, as well as hyped Adelaide producer Motez, Sydney’s kings of content,The Meeting Tree, champion dance act Angus (Black Angus) McDonald of Sneaky Sound System, BOOGIE MONSTER, DJ, producer and influencer Tigerlily, alongside Claire Morgan and Adi Toohey of FBi Radio.
Scott Robertson, head of event, touring and artist management agency, Division will be joined by strategic partnerships lead at Secret Sounds Connect Nicole Lembke, as well as Ignacio Garcia ofSwerve Productions, Meg Williams of Inertia, Clare Downes of Secret Garden Festival, SumManagement’s Jesse Flavell, Jerry Poon of The Operatives, and Audiopaxx’s Dom Furber. Sync specialists, Simon Moor of Kobalt and Gaga’s licensing and sync manager, Nadine Riezouw also join the bill.
Record label, event and visual curators, Jay Ryves of Future Classic, Pat Santamaria of Motorik, Elliot Shields of Pelvis, Peter Sharpovski of House of Mince and Jacqui Cunningham of Snatch and Graband GiRLTHING bring their expertise to EMC. With their sharpened creative skills come Marty Wirth ofPresent Company, Erin Moy of Entropico and Laura Byrne of Made in Katana. While Tyson Koh ofKeep Sydney Open, Clare Holland of FBi Radio, Katie Cunningham of inthemix, Glen Cassidy of Cake Wines, and Harry Katsanevas of Katarzyna contribute their knowledge and passion to a stacked lineup.
Alongside more names to be added to the EMC speaker line up, the full EMC Conference Program as well as the full line up and schedule of EMCPlay will be revealed on November 7.
