EMCPlay ticketholders will have access to all showcases with over 65 artists scheduled to perform.

Darlinghurst’s Oxford Art Factory will host EMCPlay’s headline event and act as the evening’s hub, where successful applicants such as Lastlings, Nutrition, Dena Amy and Paces will perform. Hopping to the heart of Kings Cross, World Bar will see management and touring company Nuff Said (home to the likes of Kilter and Late Nite Tuff Guy) team up with acclaimed label etcetc and Eighty Six for a showcase, while from the city centre’s Hudson Ballroom hosts an almighty team up from Audiopaxx, Kosher, Pilerats and Sidechains with a blazing list of talent. Back on Oxford Street at Oxford Circus, booking agency de rigour, UNDR Ctrl team up with trusted tastemakers Purple Sneakers, and Sydney reps of empowering organisation Nap Girls pair up with underground party and radio collective Deeper Than House for a multi-room full venue takeover.

EMCPlay programmer Dave Ruby Howe shares his thoughts on the 2016 lineup:

“This year’s EMCPLAY lineup is chockers with some of the best and brightest new names in Australian electronic music but it’s also exciting to be partnered up with some of the labels, agencies and collectives that help to breathe life into the local scene every week and weekend. Having the opportunity to connect the successful applicants for EMCPLAY 2016 with the industry is going to be super exciting – from big names capping off remarkable years to emerging, innovative artists on the brink of breaking it big.”

With more than 65 artists scheduled to perform at EMCPlay 2016, alongside a few extra special surprise guests – don’t miss one massive night of emerging electronic music with some of the country’s finest local crews and collectives.
