Emerging Artist Showcase 2022
Calling all live electronic and dance acts to perform at EMC’s Emerging Artists Showcase on Tuesday 29 November and Wednesday 30 November at The Lansdowne! Applications are now open to DJ’s, solo acts, duos, trios or more.
The Emerging Artists Showcase is central to EMC’s conference and festival. EMC aims to highlight 10 of the most exciting new artists from around the country, help them grow their audience and showcase them to industry folk and profile them through EMC’s national Marketing and PR campaign.
Successful applicants will receive:
- One of 10 showcase slots to perform to new fans, bookers and other industry folk from domestic and international markets;
- A $500 payment per performing act to contribute to travel, accommodation (if required) or any special production to make your performance as amazing as possible;
- Standard backline production for your showcase;
- Marketing and PR profiling via EMC’s national and international campaign;
- Complimentary EMC10 Artist Conference Passes for each performing member, plus one Industry Conference Pass for a manager or representative;
- A&R feedback opportunities with EMC partners and stakeholders;
- Complimentary subscription to a Muzeek PRO Plan for the duration of time from when the artist is first announced as an EMC10 Emerging Artists Showcase artist, through to the completion of the showcases. Muzeek’s PRO Plans deliver additional features including custom deal terms, settlements, automated templates and advancing workflow, personal calendar syncing, tracking open and click rates, event views and insights, and much more!
